Just Cause 2: The Violence And Terror Is Back With A Vengeance!

Released in March 2010, this title is the successor of Just Cause which was released back in 2006. Just Cause 2 is developed by Eidos interactive along with Avalanche studios and published by Square Enix. We can definitely call it as a super action packed game with a superman type of hero trying to save a region from bad powers and also unraveling many mysteries on his challenge to accomplish his mission. This keeps the players thrilled all throughout the game. High violence and bloodshed will make it available only for mature players or those ages 18 and up.

The story is focused around a South East Asian island Panau. An agent, who is the hero, is dropped there to oust Baby Panay who is the dictator of Panau. On his mission he gets across various twists and turns and unravels many mysteries. The island is free to roam and the player is free to explore anywhere and anything. Players can also take a ride in the vehicles that are spread throughout the island. The lead role has special powers such as jumping high and then deploying the parachute; one should definitely try it out to feel the fun and excitement. New vehicles such as the Boeing 737 and new weapons such as hand held grenade launchers are introduced in Just Cause 2.

The fight just keeps intensifying as the level progresses and one has to fight his way entirely throughout the game in competitive story mode. Game play, controls, and the story lines have all been significantly enhanced. Graphics is satisfactory and efficiently detailed up to the need. The picturesque of the island is very beautiful. Special attention has been paid to every miniscule detail such as the street lamps and the electricity lines; it could have been designed a little bit better by adding more components in the island to make it look more fresh and competitive. The game has many similar scenes that seem to repeat throughout the game and unfortunately, the game cannot be played over and over again without going through the same exact scenes and battles from level to level.

Background music and sound effects are satisfactory. It gives a real violent feel and a helps to release enormous amount of adrenaline to your controllers. However, the sound tracks are decent and the sound effects are somewhat similar to those one would hear in various other games. There is nothing unique about the sound effects or background music leaving it someone repetitive and monotone as it is so similar to many of the other video games out there of the same kind.

The game play is extremely violent and is not at all advised for kids. Those who will be able to purchase this game must be 18 and over and should not be played by those under the age of 18 due to the severity of the violence. While this game may be a popular choice among those gamers who love the blood and guts type of video games with excessive killing and violence, this game may not appeal to others who aren`t into the violent game play. Just Cause 2 has been released on all major gaming systems such as Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and is even available to play on your PC.
