Aaron and Ralph tearing down walls

We are now in the demolition process of Texas Hunt Lodge…….and boy is it fun!  Seriously, if you have never grabbed a hammer and gone ape *^&* on a wall I recommend it.  It can be very therapeutic. :-)

Once we are finished we will begin building the kitchen and bar.  It will be a great place to hang out for a cold beer and some football.  That is an open invitation!  Have a great week everyone!

I’m Still Here!

So sorry it has been forever since I last blogged!  There is so much to catch you up on……I guess I will just start from the beginning.  We pulled out of Virginia Beach just as the hurricane was crashing in, and 3 long days of driving later, we pulled into Ingram, as Hurricane Ike was getting ready to crash Galveston and Houston.  My mom stayed here with us for a day to help us clean and paint our living quarters for the next few months.  Thanks Mom!  Aaron’s sister Courtney and her (now husband) Chris got married in Playa del Carmen on September 19th.  The wedding was beautiful and a great time was had by all.  I even climed up a 1,000 year old Mayan pyramid, or something ;-)

Once we returned to the real world it was manual labor all day every day until we had all storage cleaned out and on the front lawn ready for the “Mother of all yard sales” as many who came by have reffered to it.  We finally got everything down and sorted and have a successful sale.

Aaron and I loaded up the dogs and took the camper to Garner State Park in Leakey for a few days of just us an relaxing.  It was great to get away with just us and the dogs.  We grilled huge ribeye steaks the first night and fished, swam, rope swing, played dominoes and roasted marshmallows.  We had a wonderful time.

My allergies are getting the best of me, every day, I guess it is the cedar.  I am taking Claritin daily, but am thinking I may need to switch to something else.  If you have any suggestions let me know!  I promise not to go so long without a post this time.  I hope everyone is well and have a wonderful weekend!

Tucker in a box

Packing, packing, and more packing.  That is what I am doing all day today, and hopefully not much of tomorrow.  My mom will be here tomorrow around 3.  Hopefully we will just be tying up all of the loose ends of moving and can relax a little and show her some sights.  The movers will be here Friday at 9am to load up the Uhaul and we are leaving Saturday morning around 7am.  If I don’t get a chance to post until Texas, have a WONDERFUL WEEK and I will see you soon-YEE-HAW!!!

Lindsay G
Happy 25th Birthday to Lindsay-yesterday!!!!! I miss you girl and will see you soon! Woo Hoo!

I am pretty sure that I got most of you by text, but for those I missed-my new cell phone number is 830-928-0408.

Zach and Rebecca will be here tomorrow, yay! There are several concerts down on the beach all weekend, Warrant, B-52s, Eddie Money, En Vogue to mention a few, so we should have plenty to do. Then as soon as they leave we will start the grueling process of packing up our house. My mom is flying here on Wednesday, I can’t wait to see her! Bless her heart for coming to help! We have 3 vehicles heading to Texas including the Uhaul so we had to have a 3rd driver. I am NOT looking forward to the long, 25 hour, drive-but the end result will be WELL WORTH IT!

Watch out TEXAS-Here we come, AGAIN! :-)

Aaron and I are moving back to Texas!  Aaron will continue doing the ticket business for major and International events, and we have several plans in the works for some land in Kerrville.  Stay tuned for some exciting things to come from the Bulkleys!  I found this video about Texas on youtube and wanted to share it with y’all.  It wraps up everything I love about Texas in a nutshell!  Have a wonderful week and see you all very soon!
